 My name is Absata Compaore, people call me just Absa. I come from Burkina Faso. I came to the United States to improve my English. In my country we only speak a little English because we take English lessons at school. The courses in the United States are more strengthening from those we have in our country. Everyone is different even the accent. But the teachers here are understanding, they know that we have difficulty expressing ourselves in English and they do their best to help us. people are also nice in town. No matter who you approach to talk, once they notice that you don't understand English they become attentive and calm down to answer you without making fun. Speaking with strangers helps you improve your English because they will use words you don't know and by looking for the meaning of these words the vocabulary will be memorized. And they lead you to practice what you learn at school.
